Molly is a research assistant in Dr. Baker’s Lab at Oregon Health & Science University. After receiving her B.S in Biological Sciences, she worked in Dr. Jens Kreth’s Lab studying oral bacterial commensals and their molecular role in the oral microbiome. Now, she is researching fatty acid biosynthesis in Streptococcus species in Dr. Baker’s Lab. She plans to attend graduate school in the future, pursuing an advanced degree in microbiology. In her free time, she likes to go for bike rides in Portland and explore the Pacific Northwest.
